The Lady Jaguars had extra motivation last night playing Shawnee in MM 
Gym having lost to them by one point on January 9th. The game featured 
12 lead changes and 5 tied scores in the highly charged atmosphere in MM 
gym.  The Jaguars opened scoring with a Keri Roach 3 pointer but fell 
behind 25-15 only to tie the score at 30-30.  At the half the score 
again was tied at 38-38. The second half saw the Shawnee Saints take a 
lead of 12 points on a 17-5 run to start the second half.  The offense 
then got a jump start with Chelsie Bartlett scoring on a put back, a 3 
pointer, two baskets by Alex Roberts, as the Jaguars had a 16-4 run of 
their own.  The Jaguars took a 79-72 lead with 90 seconds remaining and 
held on for the win.
Bryesha McCullough scored 23, Alex Roberts had 15, Keri Roach had 12 
points, and Erin Bensyl had 10 points.  Erin had a team high 6 assists 
while Alex Roberts lead the team in Rebounding.
 
The Jaguars go on the road for 4 games before returning home on February 
24th with a game against Parkland.  That game is our PINK night to 
heighten Breast Cancer awareness .
 
The Jaguars are now 5-19 and 2-6 in the MWAC.
